Chronic & Complex Pain Conditions

Pain Management

At Berger, Jacks & Conradie Physiotherapists we believe in managing pain conditions holistically.  Our treatments are aimed not only at reducing pain intensity, but also to address the cognitive and emotional aspects associated with the experience of pain. We want to empower you to improve self-management strategies for sustained pain relief, to get back to enjoying activities you love and live your life to the fullest!

The experience of chronic pain can often become disabling and socially isolating.  Over the years, the idea of patients being passive participants in the management of their health has evolved to include active patient participation, increased knowledge and education to better understand your condition and the application of safe, appropriate, graded activities and exercises to restore optimal function and wellbeing.

Pain conditions treated at our practice include, but are not limited to, the following:

Chronic / Complex Pain Conditions

  • Neuropathic Pain and symptoms (incl. Diabetic – & Polyneuropathies)
  • CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndromes)
  • Fibromyalgia
